A NEW BEGINNING

In perhaps the biggest news to hit the trail running airwaves in at least (oh, I don’t know…a week) New Zealand’s biggest Trail Running Publication has merged with Australia’s biggest Trail Running Publication.

Trail Runner New Zealand & Australia will be rebranded Trail Run Magazine incorporating Trail Runner New Zealand & Australia, a publication that will continue to be dedicated to the best, grassroots, mud-encrusted, dirty-kneed trail running mag. Forget the boring bitumen, we are entirely devoted to the dirty art of trail running. If it’s through forest, up mountains, across deserts, single-track, trails and journeys across New Zealand, Australia, and beyond, wild and adrenaline-pumping, we’ll cover it! Trail Run Magazine incorporating Trail Runner New Zealand & Australia is for anyone who wants to feel part of a community of people who love running in spectacular terrain. Packed with features, interviews, gear reviews, event previews, trail porn and more, Trail Run Magazine incorporating Trail Runner New Zealand & Australia will inspire you to live a little more wildly! Go on, get dirty…

For existing readers of Trail Runner New Zealand & Australia the main change is that the new Trail Run Magazine incorporating Trail Runner New Zealand & Australia will be delivered as a quarterly magazine. But don’t worry, each issue will still be jammed packed to the brim with Kiwi and Aussie content, including dedicated New Zealand Editors in Vera Alves and Vicki Woolley.

For renewing and new subscribers, thanks for being a part of the community. Although the two mags have aligned, we will continue to serve as a central focus for trail running’s community to celebrate the people and places of our tribe. There is no loss, rather growth in two readerships becoming one, strengthening the connections across the Tasman and our community as a whole. We hope that by receiving Trail Run Magazine incorporating Trail Runner New Zealand & Australia you will remain connected to us, the stories we have to tell and your tribe.
